Hayward can suck it.
and I'm glad that a-hole scott burnside from ESPN will have to shut the fuck up as well. dude has had his head so far up the ducks ass, his nickname should be "stuffing".
It would be good to see a full season of Burns Vogt Valencia, with Canha and Semien (hopefully he works on his D ). I guess Reddick & Lawrie will be back and we're stuck with Butler for a while.
Sogard was an ok reserve this year. No reason to bring Fuld back and hopefully Crisp does the...
The A's go out taking 2 of 3 from Seattle but losing the last one on a shot by former A's player Seth Smith.
It was a rough season, but filled with some promising newcomers who Beane hopefully won't trade for a handful of magic crapola.
On the plus side, at least the Angels failed at the end...
Yeah, even if it was mostly a marketing stunt, still a cool gesture.
Although with Gray down for the remainder, it looks like we get Zito time once more.
Have I mentioned how much I hate the Angels? It would be nice to be more than a speedbump and actually help de-rail those a-holes.
Yikes! The A's are swept and help Texas build their lead in the AL West. Pretty crappy overall... had 6 Errors, got outscored 26-10. At least Venditte had a couple of good appearances.
Up next the A's close out their home games for the year against SF.
Nah, I can't do it.
I can't root for any other team in the AL West. I'm only marginally pulling for Houston because I've built the least amount of hate for them over the past couple of years.
I guess I'd go with the Blue Jays overall. My hate for the Royals,W.Sox and Twins diminishes as...
Yeah, I read an article about that on ESPN a while back when Beane was saying it wasn't going to happen. But that was before Chavez went down. I hope we get a Hudson-Zito game.
Only 15 games left now!
Damn it.
Well, the A's are now assured of a losing record for the season after losing 8 of 12 to the AL west and 2 of 3 to Texas. The injuries and accompanying pitching woes helped sink the season, but the bright spot has been seeing so many new guys coming up this year, and there's a shot...
The A's win the 1st 2 of 3 from Houston as the slate of games against the AL West continues. The highlight for me was seeing Gray get the win against Kazmir. The lowlight was every A's pitcher giving up at least a run in the 3rd game loss.
With Vogt out, Reddick has taken the team lead in...
Well, that was a clusterfuck. A's get swept by the M's.
I always hate losing to king Felix, but wasting Valencia's GS in the first game felt worse, even if an L's an L. At least Dull is off to a good start.
Up next: HOU
Oakland bounces back to win 2 of 3 from AZ. This series featured both a save and a loss from the A's former reliever Brad Ziegler.
Up next is 12 straight against the AL West, starting with a set against the slumping Halos.
The A's get two HR's off of King Felix but nothing much else worth mentioning to lose the capper on the series with the M's. No A's starter made it through 5 innings in the set... although it was tough luck for Doubront having to exit early in his game.
Next up: AZ.
Ok, so A's lose 2 games by 1 run each, and then win the last game 8-2, all too typical of how the season has gone this season. The win even featured an A's blown save... too bad for Graveman as he bounced back pretty well from his last start.
In other news, the Astros and Rangers are both...
