First album I ever purchased. His/they're performance of it in concert was always a highlight. It isn't really about a parent-child relationship though.
Nice to see Lakers fans here not blaming the refs for the most part.. what a thankless job that must be. Don't lose hope. Your team has lost 2 games by a bucket and hasn't played at home yet. Not that I'm rooting for them as a very long time Lakers hater, but it's not over yet..
Lol.. you cracked the code.
I'm not against them.. they just no longer matter to me as a fan of the sport.. except when one of them challenges at a major.
Lol.. you must have a vested interest in LIV's success. I'd watch celebrity golf before I'd tune in for that. But you keep banging that drum... certainly people will start giving a crap any minute now.
Both Scheffler and Korda have separated themselves from the rest of their respective tours recently. Korda is cruising towards her 5th win in a row.. the Chevron, a major. That will tie the record held by Nancy Lopez & Annika Sorenstam. Scheffler is crusing towards his 4th in 5 starts at Harbor...
Nobody gives a crap about LIV except for discussions like this. Are their tournaments even on TV? I honestly don't know and I've been a regular golf viewer for 60 years. Those guys just don't matter anymore except at the majors. They're exhibition golfers the rest of the year.
Actually I meant southeast Ohio. My ex's family is from down that way... originally from Kentucky and we visited often. The radio stations you get on the road down there are the first clue you've entered a different world.
Only about half of it is like that. The south/southwest portion is some beautiful country and per @Wamu 's post, the culture & people of south vs north are like night & day. Southern Ohio is basically an extension of West Virginia & Kentucky.
I have zero sympathy for people who severely injure or kill others as a result of their criminal act. In this case, a girls life has been negatively altered forever. No idea why his should not be as well.
I don't even know where to start with that so-called "data"... data which ranks a 33 YO current day golfer with 5 major victories to his name at #44 behind the likes of Scott Hoch? I'm not even going to try to unpack that dogshit.
If your argument is that the depth at the top was as strong during Tiger's prime than it is today you won't find much company for that from anyone who follows the game. The young guys just keep on coming. It wouldn't surprise me if there have been 5 times as many major winners under 30 years...
Stop it... the ONLY reason that line had a nickname was because of OJ... and since when do RBs lead a team to the playoff? The man can roast forever but he was a great RB.
It cost him a penalty stroke. His drop just couldn't be closer to the hole and he was lucky a decent drop area was within 2 clublengths, though he probably wouldn't have done much worse going back and re-teeing hitting 3.
I don't think he wants to put in the work it would take to be competitive again. His short game blows and that shouldn't have anything to do with his physical issues. The game is simply much, much stronger at the top than it was when he was on top also. There have never been as many truly great...
The boys at Augusta National must be loving the way the course is holding up with these guys standing still and going backwards the past couple of days.
Full disclosure is I've just never been a fan of the guy. His putting, and short game in general, has been his problem since his first comeback, which suggests to me that he just hasn't worked on it much because injuries and issues with his body shouldn't impact those things and he was one of...
