I love live animal mascots just for the potential for carnage. Nothing quite like a Bevo or Ralphie rampage. Or watching the Sooner wagon get toppled.
All I remember about that game was how long it was. And everyone in the house stayed as far away from me as possible. They were all upstairs and my wife kept yelling at me for either screaming too loudly in anger or too loudly for joy.
Well if we’re on the subject if FSU football then yes, 1993 ND vs FSU game of the century is a must watch.
It’s hard to find other ND games that season except for the BC game, no thanks and the Cotton Bowl that year.
I watched the Navy game from that year and Navy actually made a game of it...
:rolleyes2:
I live in Miami and I’m not required to have flood insurance. They say worst case the ocean will rise 1 ft by the end of the century. It would have to rise 20x’s that amount to affect me where I live.
True enough. But the campus is smack dab in the middle of residential zoning and the homes are in the millions.
Try telling Thurston Howell III to sell his estate to da U to build a stadium so the dade country cholos can show up and party in your neighborhood every Saturday.
They are better...
Not that they can’t afford it. There’s no place to build it in Coral Gables and the locals there would never stand for a huge stadium in or around the campus.
Two Super Bowl MVP’s against the dynasty of the last 20 years.
Better numbers in a pass friendly era, sure but if Namath can get in for his one good SB game (his numbers are even more pedestrian even taking into account the era in which he played) the surely there is a place in Canton for Eli.
This. Kelly has a ceiling. He’s good enough to occasionally get them in the playoffs but that level of talent is too high to compete against.
He’ll leave it better then he found it for sure but to get to the next level they’ll need a next level coach.
