tf12 DOES have a point, though...

I musta caught myself at least 5 times saying "you can't take it up stronger than THAT...?!!"

ESPECIALLY wit' a size advantage...
I get it.

But, you won and he didn't get hurt again.

I'm sure he will be more aggressive in the post season.

I felt like he was trying to go to the hoop too fast and trying too hard to avoid contact. Ended up with awkward attempts.

Gather your feet and go up like you're trying to tear the rim down. You're either getting a dunk, a foul, or both.

least now BSPN will shut up about the Lakers "not being able to beat top teams" for a minute...

You must be watching a different network than I watch. Because I've never heard a cross, nor critical, word uttered about the Lakers from the ESPN talking heads.

The funny thing about that narrative is that it isn't true:

Records vs. teams that are .500 or better...

West:
Lakers: 17-10
Nuggets: 15-10
Clippers: 14-11
Rockets: 15-11
Jazz: 12-14
Thunder: 9-16
Mavs: 10-15
Grizzlies: 7-17

East:

Bucks: 13-7
Raptors: 9-12
Celtics: 13-10
Heat: 13-11
Sixers: 13-16
Pacers: 12-12
Nets: 7-19
Magic: 5-25

What's it look like against the top 4 in each conference?

I'd be interested in seeing that data.

Clippers are 2-0 against the Lakers, Heat, Raps.

But, the rest of the teams are even or better...

Well, last time I checked.

Interesting SOS coming outta the break.

Will the Griz be able to hold on after losing JJJ?

Who says he wasn't giving 100%?

He shot sub .500. But, he put up 31, 8 and 5.

The problem was everyone besides he, Lou Trezl.

Rest of the team scored like 30 points.

Banking on playoff Kawhi isn't a bad strategy considering the dividends he pays.

That Dude is better than a irrevocable trust.

Just hope the other guys are enough to make up for Mr. Junk bond, Playoff P.

There are 2 things that would concern me if I were a Clips fan.

1.) All of the load management leads to inconsistent time together on the floor. A big part of why the Clips were such a surprise last year is because they played as 1 cohesive unit all of the time. Their bench and starters all worked together pretty much seamlessly. They also had bad attitude and wouldn't let go of a game no matter how far behind they got.

This team doesn't appear to have that, at least not like last year. The inconsistent time playing together can hurt them in the playoffs, especially late in close games.

2.) Yeah, Playoff P. If the Clips offense is running smooth, the ball is moving and PG is getting his touches in the flow of the game, I don't think you'll see much of Playoff P.

But if the offense isn't flowing and it's just taking turns running iso's, Playoff P could really cost you. The Lakers would love for the Clips to be running iso's. Then they could really use their size advantage.

I just looked at the ESPN expanded standings, but they don't appear to expand quite that far.

Depends on who we face.

Depends on who is healthy.

Lack of chemistry is a concern.

But, talent can overcome it.

Again: I don't like the way the Clippers are going about the regular season.

But, when they care, they can lock in and beat anyone.

That's why why I want the Rockets and Lakers.

Rockets are up 2-1 in the Season series and the final game is on the 5th.

We play the Lakers the 8th or March and the 9th of April.

After those games, we will know who is who in the Zoo.

Bucks already beat us twice.

So, only way we see them again is in the Finals.

Problem for Utah is Gobert is nothing special on offense so his size won't bother houston much
Yup.

Draw him to the perimeter.

He can't stay with Tucker for a whole series.

I was to lazy to look...lol

We are 1-1 against Philly, Celtics.

But, I don't think our record is great against the others not named.

Helluva game. One of the better ones I've watched all year. Although I thought it was funny when Stevens got T'd up for say are you kidding me.
Are you sure he was only saying "are you kidding me"?

Finally finished up watching the LAL/BOS game... nutz.

That one would have been sweet to get in LA.

Great game, though.

I tell you what... that's the best I've ever seen Tatum play.

I almost broke my TV when they gave that T to Coach Stevens with <1 minute left in the game... but God intervened and AD missed the free throw, so it all evened out. :D

He was pretty good in the game before the break too.

True...

Watching Tatum put his head down and go to the basket today, though... and finish the majority of the time against a big team... that has been Tatum's main weakness...

... he looks like he may have "it" after all. If Tatum finishes like this, he's gonna be a bonafide superstar.

Well a coach should never go off on a ref with <1 minute left in the game. There were several Celtic players bitching toward the end of the game.
