also funny that torn ligaments, achilles, ACL, LCL, PCL etc people are far less worried about than arthritis

Those all heal, or atleast should heal eventually.. with the technology and medicine for today's professional athletes a major injury such as an ACL or Achilles in the long term is nothing like arthritis..

Arthritis won't ever heal... Imagine it as a nagging ache that won't go away. It may feel good some days then outta knowwhere the ache flare up and comes back..

In the case of Gurley I couldn't even imagine having a bad knee permanently as a running back. Yes with management and a reduced work load he may still have a few good season left but I just can't see him playing all 16 games or having a huge workload.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him end with 180-200 carries with about 30-50 passing targets for the upcoming season

Never forget.. Adrian Peterson Tore his ACL one year came back the next and ran for 2k.

There are so many other examples as well with players bouncing back off a major injury

i understand arthritis quite weill.

there are, but 5-1 that they dont come back
