I don't know about the other award categories, but Bishop seems like a slam dunk on this one. Lehner has nearly identical stats to his "backup" in Greiss. Vasilevsky is in this category due to his workload and win total, which are more of a reflection of his team's success and he isn't in the top 5 in either GAA or save percentage. Bishop is among the top 2 in both those categories on a not-so-stellar squad that didn't make the playoffs last year. Seems to me he has the Vezina wrapped up.

A little confused by Carlson getting the Norris nom over Rielly despite both being offensive-minded players and Rielly having better stats in every offensive category than Carlson.

Anyway, Binnington should win Hart, Vezina and Calder for what he brought to a Blues team who were trying to trade half their roster to get out of last place before he showed up on the scene. Stone should win the Selke but Bergeron will despite a pretty average season defensively because the western PWHA writers all just assume he's earned it again.

ROR for the Lady Byng Award brought to you by Tim Hortons.

I agree that Bishop did more with less this season. But the league really liked that whole Tampa Bay story this year. I feel like Bish is gonna get robbed.

Well now I'm VERY confused.

And I'm doubly confused because I don't think Brett Burns is that great. He's always converting passes from Jim Thornton. Anyone could do that!!

Bergeron is a hell of a defensive forward but he just doesn’t have enough games for my liking this season. Mark Stone has had an incredible year and I think he has earned it.

I agree, but what Berube did, taking them from last in the league to the playoffs is very impressive. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s close.

True but at the end of the day, Berube got 4 more points than last year.

Isles got 24 more.

Pettersson, Binnington, and Dahlin your Calder finalists.

While Petterson had the best season, it's tough to argue against Binnington having the biggest impact on his team.

Still think Petterson gets it.

Pettersson wins it.

Dahlin is who I'd want moving forward.
