To be fair Crawford is on leave and Posey is I guess resting?

With those two back, and Arroyo in there, it doesn't look so bad

I know. But the very idea of this kind of lineup being run out this early in the season doesn't sit well. I know that there are always surprises but only Panik and Pence were considered to be regulars at their positions at the start of spring training (with the caveat that Pence would probably be injured a few times during the season).

Sammy had 17 QSs last year, and 1 this year so far. I think he's due. STEP UP DAMMIT.

Let's say Morse can actually hit, and Span just hits ok, here's a lineup we could see:

I mean, that's maybe not the order but that's not bad.

ANd sometimes Nunez in LF instead, or if Morse can't really play every day (maybe just starts vs lefties, and Belt sits?). Point is when we get to full strength, if Arroyo and Morse are legit, suddenly it don't look so bad.

We need to rip off a 5 game winning streak soon though. Padres are a good plase to try to start.

Maybe I'm over stating my reaction to the lineup. I realize it is a one day lineup but I didn't expect this kind of one day lineup this early in the season. Lots of surprise names and guys considered out of position. I don't doubt that what you said is a possibility. Just a really quirky lineup to see.
