I usually watch the 1st round pretty closely, at home with some frosty beverages. Myself and a few friends used to go to the local watering hole on Thursday night for a few, but we all have youngins now, so that doesn't happen much.

I stay tuned to the 2nd and even 3rd round a bit, but beyond that, I don't pay much attention on the TV, just keep an eye on it throughout the weekend on here and on my iphone. I have other things to do than listen to the talking heads for hours on end. Its borderline torture after a while.

I never watch this crap live, but instead record it, and as time allows, go through the recording for salient moments. Takes just about an hour or so to go through the entire draft. I do get live updates during the day and a call / text or two from fam or friends.

No sense in turning on the 1st round on until the 10th round. After that I watch but I consider it dumb dumb TV. You can do something else and look up when you need to.

Since Thursday is my designated "Work" from home day, I usually throw something in the smoker at around Noon. Fire up the grill at around 7:30 for good measure and me and my sons sit around and sort of treat it like a Sunday. We eat, drink and have both ESPN and NFL Network draft coverage running through round one. Friday night, we generally just grill. And Saturday, I throw it on in the garage while Im working on projects.

This year Im thinking brisket, burgers and Dogs and possibly some home made Salsa for the chips.
