Tournament Thread Big Sky Conference Tournament

Kicks off tomorrow (well, today I guess) in Reno.

Don't see any way UND or EWU doesn't win this. Overall the Sky is pretty bad but those two teams are at least decent.

I'm taking chalk the entire tourney until EWU takes it over UND in the final. Generally I take the team with the best overall player in this thing and that's Jacob Wiley at Eastern who was the conference MVP.

I'll give Weber, Montana State, and Idaho an outside chance just because they all have guys that can take a game over. Jeremy Senglin at Weber, Tyler Hall at MSU, and Victor Sanders at Idaho are all real solid guards. Randy Onuwuasor at Southern Utah is great too even though his team is god awful.

Should be a fun one. 4 of the top 25 and 3 of the top 15 scorers in the nation will be playing in this motha.

Was thinking for a while that the winner of this might end up in Dayton but the way the other conference championships are going it seems unlikely.

First round match-up to watch is going to be MSU vs. SUU.

I remember a few years ago they made the tournament and their coach foolishly guaranteed they would win their first round game even though they were a huge underdog. Naturally they lost and everyone forgot they made it

Updated Bracket. Montana State and SUU was a hell of a game. Looks like some really good match-ups in round 2. This should be fun.
