The Pro Bowl is at Fed Ex Field? That is the hood. I grew up there.![]()
FYI Guys... the Pro Bowl this year is being played... in tha Hood. For the record, since the game will start and end at night, IM renting a car to go the 14 miles from my house to the game.![]()
If it was in the burbs and 14 miles from your house would you walk or jog the 14 miles? Ride a bicycle or unicycle?
14th Street DC?
Yea... like mid 80s 14th street. That kinda vibe.... the Stadium is two blocks from Orange Blossom Trail.
Figures that they have to go to a non-NFL stadium to have this game (no NFL city probably wanted it). I am glad that you are happy to go to this game. However - if they are going to play in a non-NFL stadium why not just play it in Hawaii like in the past. At least the players get a vacation in Hawaii & the fans of that state get to see NFL football (kind of).
The Players are likely all staying at the Disney or Universal resort. So its not a horrible gig for them. And Orlando is not actually the NFL wastelands. We are located about 1.5 hours from Tampa or Jacksonville, and 4 hours from Miami. So I get the feeling they will have alot of NFL fans in attendance. Hell tickets for the game START at $60 a pop. And much like hosting a Superbowl, I think the City of Orlando likely had to fork over a good chunk to get to host this gig.
