Here was an interesting story I heard today. Allen and Gruden have ties to Bradley who was hired as a quality control or whatever they call it when they hire a young guy that wants to coach but isn't ready yet. Bradley became the LBs coach @ Tampa when their LBs coach left to go become DC in Detroit. Yep, Joe Barry. Later Gus went to Seattle where he and SM hit it off.

As I said in another thread.

I think Gus is the buddy hire, which considering the last few buddy hires we have had in DC have gone badly. NOw I dont think he would be the worst we could do. Butt Im hoping we get some one who is held accountable and wont get the buddy pass if the defense has another shit the bed season.

As for all the Wade love, Im not a fan because i think he is the fall back if we CANT bring in a DC that will run a defense better situated to our personnel. Wade means we stay with a 3-4, and Im thinking thats actually not a god thing.
