Couple years ago we went to this place near all the government buildings that was pretty good. Think it was The Red Hat. Really good chowdah
I don't know much about seafood in Boston, but back in college I got a nice case of crabs from a broad on Martha's Vineyard.
Heh heh heh...that wasn't Martha's Vineyard!
Red Lobster,
They tried to locate one where I live on Cape Cod, did not last a full year, Arthur Treaches failed miserably too.
A seaside location for them was a terrible idea.
Same thing happens in NY when they put an Olive Garden or Romano's Macaroni Grill
They last 10 minutes
You remember they had an OG in times square? Tourists and poor college students kept it afloat for a while
Nantucket?
Provincetown
I have been all over the country. Maryland is the only place to get a good crabcake. I lived in Delaware and would go to Maryland all the time just for the Crabcakes. Nothing even comes close. As someone who grew up in Baltimore, most New England Crabcakes suck. Don't get them. The only ones that aren't bad that I found pretty close were at Legal Seafood although there might be others. There's tons of better seafood to get in New England than crabcakes. Even just the straight fish is good.
Going up the Maine coast for good Lobsters and Lobster rolls is a no-brainer. Easy. Just don't go to Red Lobster. You can do better.
I heard that place is full of bicycles
With no seats, just the stems.I heard that place is full of bicycles
Exactly, that's the one I thought of.......Times Square is the only place an Olive Garden or ESPN Zone can ever survive.....When any friends visit, and say "We were gonna eat in Times Square", I just say "Please don't"

Slinky said there is, but no seats?
Without seats, yes

I was in a place in Deerfield Beach Fl. The guy from Diners, Drive ins etc was there a couple of weeks before. It is known as a pretty good place. I asked the waitress if they had good crabcakes, she said yes. Then i told her that I am used to Maryland crabcakes, she said, don't get them here, you will be disappointed.
