Terrance Knighton said he’s concerned about his future with the Patriots.

Knighton’s roster status is in doubt after he didn't play in New England’s third preseason game. He’s behind Malcom Brown, Markus Kuhn, Anthony Johnson, and Joe Vellano. The Patriots can save $1.77M from releasing Knighton.

He is better than Gholsten. So its kind of a no brainer to me if he is released.

New England has some big young fellas on the DL that can play. Pot Roast had his work cut out for right from the start and he might need an injury or two to make the cut. I heard him talk to Scott Zolak one morning at the beginning of camp and he seems like a pretty affable fellow, but he's only got one more week to impress.

A return to the Redskins doesn't appear to be in the cards, with a team source telling ESPN's Britt McHenry that there isn't much interest in Knighton at this time.

It seemed pretty clear that the Skins didn't want him back. I don't think they even bothered to make him an offer.

They made him an offer before he signed with the Pats for more money. Doesn't make sense to me.

If it makes sense and is at the right price, why not?
