Which WRs do you see making the team and which do they try and stash on the PS?
It's a really tough call. Starters right now look like Britt, Austin, and Cooper. I would assume Thomas is safe as he was a draft pick. Spruce's preseason may have won him a roster spot. Quick's drops this preseason have him in doubt. I would assume Hill, North, and Richards are likely cuts. That leaves Quick, Marquez, McRoberts, and Duke Williams likely fighting for 1 spot (they kept 6 last year), maybe 2? They could try to sneak McRoberts and/or Duke to the practice squad?
I assume you're looking to snipe McRoberts...

Hi. I run the Sportsbook on another Rams forum. We've had a book on which WRs would make the initial 53-man roster since early May. It's only for the site equivalent of Vcash and we don't have any inside information. Odds are generally reflect what the community thinks Fisher and Snead will do although as oddsmaker i'm clearly the biggest influence. Certain players are locks so odds on them reflect the chances of them being traded, suspended, or getting injured and going to IR.Which WRs do you see making the team and which do they try and stash on the PS?
They start 3 WR's?
There are 3 default starting WR positions, 2 outside and 1 slot. Britt and Austin would be outside, with Cooper in the slot. Whether or not the Rams actually use all 3 consistently on the field at the same time is another matter entirely.
Oh okay....The depth chart I saw showed 2 WR's and 2 TE's in their offense.
With Tavon and Gurley, this should be much higher, what a shame, there are just so many creative options that they could run out of this personnel set.21 personnel (2 RB, 1 TE, 2 WR): 00.35% (4th lowest, league average = 13.26%)
This really surprises me, being last in offensive passing yards, I really thought we ran more 2 TE sets, however it is still 5% more than the league average.11 personnel (1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WR): 62.02% (9th highest, league average = 51.62%)

Austin: In -6250, Out +2000
Britt: In -3700, Out +1600
Cooper: In -2125, Out +1200
Quick: In -222, Out +192
Thomas: In -185, Out +161
Spruce: In -154, Out +135
Marquez: In -118, Out +104
McRoberts: In +319, Out -385
North: In +386, Out -476
Williams: In +394, Out -488
Most of the betting interest over the last 2 weeks has been on Spruce and Williams.
Current projections have the Rams keeping 5.86 WRs. Obviously keeping 6 looks like the most likely outcome. There has been speculation about keeping 7 but keeping 5 WRs and bumping a few to the practice squad is a more likely scenario, especially if the #6 WR wasn't a special teams player. It would also allow the Rams to keep a potentially more valuable and useful depth player in another position. Any Rams WR cut would probably go unclaimed off waivers. Quick wouldn't be eligible for the practice squad. Marquez would be an unlikely practice squad signing. Usually PS players are players with high ceilings who aren't NFL ready and don't contribute on STs. Marquez is an NFL ready ST player with a low ceiling. Personally I think they'll keep the top 3, 2 of the next 3, with or without Marquez as a #6, and a total of 7 including the PS.
If they do keep 7 on the active roster, (which is a long-shot), they may well cut Quick and go with McRoberts as the #7. McRoberts has been playing a lot of STs and Marquez is already a top ST performer.

Hey, @shopson67, could you run the same query for the rest of our division?
I won't call you crazy...Fisher is really fed up with the kid. I think he's having trouble seeing the ball.Have a feeling B Quick is getting cut. Call me crazy
If he makes the cut to 53, I'm sure we wont be seeing the guy receiving the ball on ST.Even Kenny Brit was wondering why they took McRoberts out of the Denver game.

And yes I know NF, I saw your comment about it on the game thread last night.
Look NF, we've all been cool with you here for some time as a Niners fan coming on our boards. If you are having an UDFA take your punt returns during the regular season the Rams have a lot more problems

You were suspect early on but we found you to have a true interest in McRroberts so we all cut you a little slack.
But if you want to come here, as a Niners fan, and tell all us Rams fans about our 'problems' with UDFA coming in to make the team or what not, as one of the mods here on the Rams boards, you can just go kick some rocks.
Got it!
