We gave up a reliever spot for Choo. Better not get hurt again pal.

We sent down Alberto for Jeffress yesterday so think of it as Alberto sent down for Choo and Alvarez sent down for Jeffress.

Should probably flip Alberto for Profar, Profar isn't going to get many ABs with Choo & Beltran here... unless the plan is to sit them and Moreland, Odor, Andrus & Beltre completely once a week

Not a big fan of Profar going back to rotting on the bench

Yep, or Beltran and Beltre.

I have no problem batting Beltran third. Especially with him being a switch hitter. He's been a better hitter than Beltre this year.

Actually over their careers, they have almost exactly the same BA and RBI totals.

Frankly, this surprised me how similar their numbers are over such an extended period of time.

Right. Both are future HOF'ers. But I was referring to this season. Thus the reason I specified this year.

Yep, or Beltran and Beltre.

Beltre was hitting clean up before the trade, I'd leave him there. You typically don't want a few trades to change the entire make up of your line up. Inevitably, some of it will change. I think Beltran hitting 3rd is good because of his versatility.

I was just pointing out how amazingly close their stats were over their careers, and it surprised me.

And their numbers, even over this season, aren't crazy different, FWTW.

Board was kind of slow today, so some work got accomplished. :hammer:

Good to see really.....Does it seem like this board has been a little less "enthusiastic" than last year to you?

Yes I believe it has

Wonder why that is? Team started a little slow and then blew the doors off for months.

It also seems like there is more in fighting.

Oh well.
