Duncan looking at retirement somewhat negates the addition of Gasol. Parker, Ginobli and West aren't getting any younger. They may be just a little bit old to deal with the best in the West.

U forgot about kawhi leonard and lamarcus aldridge

They will play great defense i wanted to see them last year

kawhi needs to grow a pair and become an alpha dog...he is as talented as anyone but a little soft. aldridge is real soft....they need a killer there in the back court.

He is just entering his prime at 25 tho

I really like the gasol pickup, more championship experience

Looks like warriors added Zaza pachulia. I think this is the start of many ring chasers signing with GSW.

oh yah...at any time Leonard could grow a pair....right now id rather have at least 20 guys have the ball in their hands at the end of a tight game...probably quite a bit more than that.......he won the MVP of the Finals when there was not a lot of pressure on him and he was one of the younger guys...now as the leader he needs to step up and take that next step that we have not yet seen from him. If he does he could get into the top 5 in the league.

I heard that Pachulia's uncle left him real estate and business interests that have a value of about $100 million. The guy's not hurting for money.

Gotta say, I'm a little surprised that KD left now. Not completely shocked, but a little surprised. I figured he'd sign the 1 and 1 (which he did), but I figured it would be in OKC to give it one more try.

Two very good players but the rest of the team is too old. hard to go against Popovich though. he's been very successful

KD will never crack the top 20 of all time after this. top ten is a bad joke for him at this point....i have a better chance. lol.

They said the exact same thing about LeBron in 2010. They were wrong.

Not saying Durant is as good, but say they win the next 4 rings and he has 3 Finals MVPs, he is top 10 easy. As so many on here constantly say, players resumes are defined by ring counts. Well, KD is about to get some. As long as he and Curry are on relatively level ground as Far as being the go to player, Durant's legacy will be just fine. The only way he does not get full credit is if he is Pippen to Curry's Jordan, and I just can't see that.

What are you talking about

the thunder were up 3-1 vs gs last year before they choked, in large part due to Durant

They just added oladipo and 11th round lottery pick and probably more...they were in a good place to challenge gs next year
I disagree - They lost because they weren't good enough and either way the Thunder is history - and it's time fro them to start rebuilding

Not any different than taking 3 all stars and becoming favorites to win a championship. So if Golden State would have signed Curry, Clay, Green and Iggy in fa instead of having them all together already it would be different.
That's why I say the butt hurt and herp a derp is strong - it was okay for Lebron to do that, but now they have a problem with Durant doing that - Kind of hypocritical to me

Haters are gonna hate right now, but in the future, history will remember Durant as the great player that he truly is and that he did what his contemporary superstar LeBron James did by forming a super team. That he did it bigger and better (possibly) than LeBron would raise his stature, not lower it.

KD's doing it bigger and better (possibly) than LeBron, so some people can't handle that.

It looks good and yet, the guy simply is not a winner. He plays no D, makes no one better around him, hogs the ball, etc. Just like Carmelo, you will never win a ring with either of those 2 as your best guy. As your #2 sure, but not as your #1.
Neither did Kobe Bryant when he had to play with Dwight Coward. Do I need to say any more?:heh:

If the Warriors had won, I would see how it would look that way, but in this case, the Warriors lost and they are having to get rid of a couple of players to make room for Durant. It's a smart move and next year Durant gets his first championship
