The Deanometer of course

Come on man, respect. The Deanometer is such a powerful tool that it can compare two players at completely different positions on the same 9-7 team, and assign a productivity rating of just how productive the players were in direct comparison to each other.

Funny thing is, most of us have been able to admit, Murphy is just a guy and a role player. And he wouldnt be the first player taken in the 2nd round who might be on the bubble going into year three.

Based on what metric?

based on when Smith was inserted into the lineup for Murphy the defense was way more productive. If you can't see what Moses has done for us last year then you are a lost cause.

Lets be honest. Yes when Smith was inserted the PASSRUSH was more productive, but the defense against the run dropped off. But I guess as long as it fits into your view of things, its all good. Because its not evenly remotely possible that Murphy was asked to switch positions and bulk up in order to help our 26th ranked rushing defense that gave up 122 yards per game on average??

Not worried about the run defense this year. With two lock down CB's we can afford to put an extra guy in the box to stop the run. So out dline doesn't have to be great just serviceable.

Thats it, Im starting a petition. Fire GMSM and replace him with Dean. With his penchant for talent evaluation and rock solid understanding of team production concept, we should instantly win every superbowl going forward from the moment he is installed!!

If that were the case I'm sure the logo on the helmet would change to a photo of Moses's face

The Moses in your picture isn't a 3rd round grade according to Shefty or Mort

The Moses on our O-line SHOULD have been a top ten pick according to the Deanometer.

Lets not go that far. Shark just admit you were wrong about Moses and move on.

Remind me of exactly where i was wrong??

You said he was a first round talent, I laughed at the notion.

You THINK he is one of the better RT's in the league, again I laugh because he is average at best.

Seriously dude, you would have burned a 1st round pick on a guy that 32 teams all passed over at least once, in most cases twice, and hell in some cases 3 times before he was even drafted.

So where was I wrong??

You called the guy out b/c of his rookie year. Then he proves you totally wrong by stepping up big time for us. IMO he moved the #5 overall pick to OG. Forget my opinions you totally bashed this guy from Day 1. That my friend is why you are wrong.

BUllshit. I called YOU out before we even drafted him. I said from the moment he was mentioned that he wasnt a first rounder. Of course you think he moved the #5 pick to OG, but you havent given ONE solid name that COULD play OG as a starter if Scherff wasnt there. You know I though Moses might be a distant relative or something with the way you over hyped him. But Im seriously starting to wonder if there might be some deeper kinda man love going on here.

How is it bullshit when the reasons I just gave actually happened? lol. We didn't have a 1st round pick in that draft so how the hell would we even take him. Yes I was mad when we took Murphy over Moses in the 2nd like a lot of people were. Yes draft analysts did give Moses a late first early 2nd round grade. You never game a reason if Scherff dominated at RT in training camp would have he been moves to RG.

Bottom line here is that Moses worked out well for us like I predicted. Murphy has not and was FORCED to gain weight and make a position change. Will Murphy ever be a starter for us at DE? Probably not. Does he have a chance to be a backup and ST? Yes. I would laugh my ass off if Murphy gets cut from this team.

Dude... you would have taken Moses in the second round over Kelvin Benjamin if both had been there. You were adamant that he was a first round talent. And I gave you the exact same reason as the coaces as to why Scherff was moved to RG. Because having him start at RG with Moses at RT was a better option than Long at RG. Bottom line, they put the best 5 out there which is what Coaches said from the moment the move was made. If Long were capable of starting from day one, Moses would have been on the bench and we both know it.

So seriously what is it, are you fucking Moses, or is he fucking you. Because unless he is your secret love child, I cant think of another reason you have been so over protective of such an average player even from before we drafted him??

We would have likely signed a stopgap RG. Scherff would have started at RT.

Really after drafting Kojo in the 4th round and have a 3rd round pick in Long on the bench? You damn right Scherff would have started at RT and would of failed b/c he got abused by speed rushers. You are just admitting my point by Moses succeeding at RT it MOVED Scehrff to RG. If Moses failed at RT Scherff would have stayed there.

Dude, you are high. YOu DONT make a determination on a single player after 8 whole days of mini camp. The determination to move Scherff to guard had more to do with TWO years of tape on long and the determination that HE was no more than a backup. You put your best five out there, which is exactly what the coaches have said. Long was NOT one of the est five, Moses is to big and slow to play inside. Moses didnt have to FAIL, he just had to be a better option than Long starting, which he was.
