First - you are misinterpreting the term 'scene'.... an actor lying down and being filmed in a death pose IS a scene. I have worked in the business a little bit (theatrical films and stage, not TV).

2nd - you typed: 'They literally have to film 11 different scenes.' Sure.... but again, they can be very simple/basic death poses combined with simple close-up facial reaction shots by the other living characters, plus a bit of post production FX for the eventual chosen victim.

3rd - you just stated the following: And they are not just gonna go with POV that the finale ended with them cut to dead body.....

....why not? Be careful of what you 'read on the internet'. The makers of the show do not HAVE to show the physical action of the victim getting his head bashed-in on camera. Sure, they COULD..... but they don't HAVE to.... again, they don't HAVE to. You don't understand that? (see how I just copied & bolded that condescending phrase that you typed). If the producers & directors wish to add-in a graphic action head smashing scene in addition to a death pose, they can certainly choose to do so.... but I have my doubts about them going in such a graphic direction. The gruesome smashing sounds while the camera is fixed on Negan are quite sufficient & dramatic enough, anything more than that is unnecessary. Sometimes, very often..... less is more. Plus.... if they do eventually decide to film/show a brief action shot of a head being beat-in, remember, it's a bloody prop with make-up/goo effects, no actor needed for that approx. two second close-up shot.

4th - another item you typed : 'They didn't film them last season.' ??? How the heck do you know that? Is it something you 'read on the internet'? Why don't you think they couldn't have filmed each of the 11 actors in a simple & quick death pose on the ground? Of course they COULD have. I'm not saying they definitely did.... but they COULD have! It would have been a smart thing to do because - remember it was late November, the leaves were turned, and breath was coming out of the actors mouths! Filming in that unique environment in November makes complete sense. Again, I'm not saying they definitely did film 11 death poses last November (and again, filming a death pose IS a scene), but they COULD have because it would be a little more challenging to emulate late November Autumn conditions in June. In June they would probably do tight shots, and either add special effects breath to Negan and the other living characters in their facial reaction shots, or just simply ignore the visible breath continuity problem (most likely).

5th - you also typed: 'anyways they have said as much.' As I stated in a previous post, don't believe everything you see on the internet from they! I'm petty confident that smokescreen/false info has been released because it has been done with other productions in the past.

6th - this one you typed is a beauty and takes the cake: "they have people like you who will believe what 'they say'." Ummmmm.... lol....I'm the one who stated to NOT believe what you see on the internet! I guess you did not understand the stuff I typed in my previous posts. Go back and read my posts.... I dare ya, starting with my first one when I mentioned the 'who shot JR' smokescreen murder scenes from Dallas.

Remember when you accused me of not reading the article, and I stated that I am not even discussing the stuff in the article, but simply stating how relatively simple and inexpensive it is to have all 11 actors filmed in a death pose. And now, how can you accuse me of believing what 'they say', when I'm not even discussing what 'they' are saying!!! Again, I'm simply talking about the relative ease and low expense of shooting 11 death poses! I was not even discussing anything about what they say. I'm simply shooting down your insistence that it is expensive to film 11 deaths... because as I explained, it can be done in a relatively quick, simple, inexpensive manner which does not involve extensive action, but rather, implied violence, post production sound & visual effects for only one of the eleven, combined with the facial reaction shots of the other actors.

My point is (and has been for my 5 previous posts) that the scene is dramatic & quite brutal enough with the camera focused on Negan. A graphic action-filled head smashing scene is unnecessary. A simple death pose is enough (with the smashed-in head CGI FX added in later). The concepts of less is more, and K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, stupid) come into play quite often in productions.

Any kind of extensive head-beating action sequences are unnecessary. To throw people off and keep them guessing who died, 11 simple death poses (just like the 'who shot JR' multiple murderer scenes from Dallas) are the way to go, with of course the accompanied close-up horror-filled facial reaction shots of Rick and the other still living characters. And of course, those close-up facial reaction shots can be used for the death of any of the characters.

Brief story-
I was performing in a 'head trauma' scene in the film Real Steel where a robot had his head punched-off. We used a football which was tossed into the air by the assistant director! The stunt men in their body suits portraying the robots were not even needed for that particular shot. Later in post production, the CGI head was added-in to replace the 'high tech' football prop...hehe. Again, K.I.S.S.

Peace!

You are never going to fucking get it.

The SCENE is everything. They can't kill everyone and then say "wait let's choose Carl".

They need a full blown reaction from Rick to have that as possible.

Glenn they need Maggie.

Maggie they need Glenn.

Abe would require Sasha

Please tell me you fucking understand this. For the love of fucking god i clearly know why it's "I used to work with movies". THE ENTIRE SCENE plays out differently based on the death. The ENTIRE season plays out differently. It's really simple shit dude.

And no they didn't film the 11 last year. They said as much immediately following the episode. Then the backlash happend and they went into damage control mode.

Keep trying to defend it but you are wrong.

And again you talked about the JR SHOOTER that's like the LOST coffin.

This is an actual death that impacts the entire season(since the character is actually gone). Not a who done it murder mystery.

11 characters are there. 11 characters insite 11 different reactions. Mind blowing you compared the two.

It's like me saying the Twins and Giants are equivalent teams because both play baseball.

Yes, I posted it in spoiler tags a few pages back

Glenn, Abe, Sasha. It's possible two may die. I think Sasha is easily the safest
I could see all 3 getting it. Glenn first. Sasha second, and then Abe 3rd because he loses his shit over Sasha getting it.

3 in the premiere would be nuts!!!!

I do think it's very possible they take out two. With a certain someone also being kidnapped

What better way to weed out the characters that are already dead or don't exist anyway, then to kill them all off in a monumental season premiere?

They can't kill everyone and then say "wait let's choose Carl".

As I said a few times already.... the person who dies was probably already chosen well over a year ago.... it's just that probably only a few top folks knew the identity. The smokescreen of 11 death poses is a relatively simple and inexpensive tactic to pull-off in order to throw folks off, and IS NOT difficult to do. I'm truly sorry that you just don't get it. Any additional added alterations can be done later. Throwing folks off is almost a necessity nowadays in order to keep things secret... because there are A LOT of people on set. It is amazing how many people are on the set.... it's staggering.

Here's another one of your 'gems': THE ENTIRE SCENE plays out differently based on the death.

Of course it plays out differently.... that's why the editing is one of the final things to be done. It is something you just cannot seem to grasp because you underestimate the power of post production, and editing. Good post production work and editing is where most of the work is done. This work can make scenes play out entirely different.... it's just how it's done.... it is.... you can deny it all you want, but that is where the majority of alterations and work is done. They have lots of footage to work with.... LOTS. They can take that footage and make that scene so altered that it that looks like it's a comedy skit in the middle of a barber shop if they wanted.... or make it look like Sasha sprouts wings and flies away while everyone else stares in disbelief.... and they would not need to shoot any further footage to do it. And you spoke of the Twins and Giants.... the editors & post production folks could alter this scene so much that it could be made to look like a betting/gambling sequence between Twins and Giants fans if they wanted.... without any further footage being shot..... really, they could do it.

Read-up on the 2009 film The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.... the lead actor (NOT a minor role), Heath Ledger died while the project was only one-third of the way into production, but the makers were able to finish the project..... How?.... clever editing and post production effects work. That's just the way it is done.

Again..... please stop...... if you need to---- clench your fists together, or grit your teeth or stomp...... but for the sake of sanity..... please stop... pull your fingers away from the keyboard!..... seriously, no more posts on this mkay?
Instead..... just have a Fresca.

Comic Con is just around the corner so I imagine that Gimple and Kirkman will give us some hints on what's in store for season seven.

They will need armed guards for CC. They are none too popular right now.

PEACE!

Do you have a cognitive disability??

I mean you say you weren't even reference the article.

Yet you quoted me, who quoted the article.

And I mentioned EXACTLY what the ARTICLE was referring to. No, they fucking cannot go back and choose later. And I ask again, what does that prevent anyways? Doing the editing? The leaks are rough cut footage you moron. It's seeing who on set.

Go back and look at my first fucking post.

It's 11 SCENES not digitally telling 11 people to lay down on the ground. If everyone can actually be choosen as they claim. You must shoot the entire scene. So when Carl dies you have to film Rick going fucking berserk. When Abe dies you have to have Sasha break down.

It really is fucking simple.

But, but you and your circle jerk made a movie. You know production!!!!!

Please, anytime go ahead and ram your head through a wall

THey are liars.

Filmed 11 scenes and will choose later?

So all the episodes are flashbacks?? They obviously know which it is otherwise the story wouldnt make sense lol

And spending all that money for 11 deaths??

Idiots, every single one of them

Here's the initial post.

You know when Mr. special said he wasn't talking about the article. Yet quoted me referencing it.

Guy is classic.

Hahaha a 2009 movie. God you are a fucking dolt. They had friends play Heath ledger as a respectful post mortem.

How the fuck is that the same as having Daryl get kidnapped by Dwight and Negan. Be at the sanctuary with Negans crew, eventually split up and shoot scenes with Rick and company at Alexandria and have scenes at the kingdom. How the fuck is editing going to fix all those plots if they then decide to kill Daryl back as the Lucille victim?

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Really, you deserve a medal.

Ya know...If they do pull what Mr.Hockey4242 is suggesting they REALLY fucked up bad. They could have shocked us by:

Killing Abe and ending the show like that. Then all we would be talking about is WOW they killed Abe and not Glenn. Then start the 2nd half with him killing Glenn....I mean, come on!!! The literally could have done a flashback Ep1 with the ending of it being Negan killing Glenn.

SO I am work, waiting for the hrs to go before I start a mini vaca, and I am bored AF so I have been reading some things if anyone cares....These are all "spoilers" for next season up to EP5, which just started filming...so be warned....

-Abe, Sasha, Glenn were all on site and filming for Ep1. Abe has been there for EP2/3, but not filming. Glenn was there for EP2, but not filming. No Sasha at all after 1.
-They filmed two scenes where we last left off. One was the LV scene, and the other was a brutal scene involving Negan "using his barbaric tactics to get Rick to submit to him". So, take that how you will.....This might be where are second Victim comes in...
-Daryl has been filming all of EP2 at the "compound" with Negan and the boys.
-EP3 has been all Kingdom
-EP4 Negan raids Alexandra.
-There is no way in hell, and was confirmed by people that they did not film 11 kill scenes. That would mean they would have to film 11 different episodes of EP1 and so on. Would have added up to 176 episodes and over 500m spent...LOL. They did film 2 kill scenes. One for TV and one for Blu-Ray which is also unedited.

Enjoy!!

EXACTLY. The 11 scenes was a lie because as you said it literally changes every thing.

Love your idea of how they shoulda done it. Kill one at the finale and have us all reeling then instantly kill another!!! Would be nuts.

Also,
Sasha and Maggie were spotted recently for hilltop stuff
