This is one of the catch phrases the Broncos often use - I heard it under John Fox and I heard it in the Kubiak regime.

The Denver Broncos have - 3 QBs - two new - one - one year old in it - and they have to go against what I would say is the best defensive backfield in football - every day in practice. They have the WRs who can make plays - so the variable in practice becomes execution, accuracy and technique. Does the competition from the defensive backs - make these QBs better?

I would have to say yes - if these qbs have to train through repetition -against the best competition - it has to hone their judgement when the action is for real. I realize - this is practice without a real intent to maimthe QB, but the act of passing the football to a receiver against a defender is essentially the same.

If, on the other hand, the stiff defensive back presence on the Broncos defense - demoralizes a QB - you don't want that guy as your QB anyway.

The offensive line - should be in for the same kind of sharpening - with the Bronco's front seven.

We shall see if these things happen.

Haha I think we definitely see this being played out. These players not only care about themselves and improving what they are doing but also care about the new guys coming in. Wolfe said it best that there is a certain standard that has been set anybody not playing/practicing to reach that standard will be gone.
