I've been saving this one - as I think we can all agree - my next suggestion has a certain subtle merit:

Bronco's SportsHoopla Forum at Mile High Stadium.

LGM texted me that if we would all chip in for the naming rights - he would volunteer as our Treasurer.

Since marijuana is legal here in CO. how about Sweet Leaf Field @ Mile High Stadium sponsored by Sweet Leaf Dispensary? :noidea:

The running joke in Denver does seem to be that one of the Marijuana companies would actually try to put their name in the hat. Obviously money is good and it doesn't look like it will be running out anytime soon. I doubt the league though would allow such a thing to happen.

Oh I don't think there's a chance the league would ever allow that. It would be damn funny though.

Honestly the Broncos have had trouble finding a company that can actually stay out of financial trouble. There might not be a better business that they can trust in Colorado that would definitely have the money for the next say 10-15 years and beyond. But like you said when the league has taken a very strong stance on Marijuana and it being illegal in the league I can't see them being ok with such a brand representing the NFL.

It'll be interesting to see who the next sponsor will be. You have an idea who it may be? I haven't heard anything about yet on the local news.

Chipoltle is headquartered here. Don't necessarily want the Big Burrito moniker.

Haven't heard anything. It is a huge moneymaker though so I'm hoping they get something worked out.

But then as it is legalized both medicinally and recreationally across the country, at what point does that change. players advocate for it already, players use it already. I don't believe they would allow that now but say in a couple years many more states legalize it. It would be interesting to look back and be like......yeaaaaaaah, could have done it but it was just too soon

That is the problem though...We are needing somebody for this upcoming year and usually they sign something like a 10-year contract for these things. In a few years yeah I could see if it were legalized federally and the NFL took it off the banned list then why not...but right now just not even a consideration. Like I said honestly it would be a business you know will continue to stay financially set for years to come unless they really do something stupid so we don't run into this whole bankruptcy thing again. Kind of tired of seeing the name changed every few years. Most fans still call it Mile High anyway but still just would rather see one get locked in and call it good.
