I heard Mike Ryhner on the Ticket this morning, and he was saying how much the pitching staff enjoyed working with Nicholas, so he was completely stunned when Holaday wasn't sent down.
Just have a gut feeling about how they come to these idiotic decisions.

Will miss you guys. I watch the line ups presented.

Me too. However, I emphasize with the rest of em.

I'm thinking the team is going to go with Prince for at least the rest of this month, and then regroup. Thoughts?

When they announced Nicholas was going down, I knew it wasn't because of his bat. So I assumed they wanted him to work on calling pitches, or something.

So this move is truly puzzling now.

Years of business experience tells me a change has to be made. What it will be who knows but it will come. The idea as in any business is to succeed.

Nicholas was having some success but they sent him down. Prince is having very little success and they keep plugging him into the 4 hole . Rua has had success and then got benched for days.

I agree that the team isn't looking to not be successful, I just have to wonder about how they are going about achieving, said success, at this time. They aren't trying to lose, but it doesnt seem they are giving themselves the best chance to win, night in and night out. Im sure things will change though

Truthfully I have a lot going on and haven't been able to watch as much recently. Which means, at least you all haven't had to see me griping in every game thread about all of it:D. Ive just saved it for these slow times:scratch:

I think they go with Prince the rest of the year.

Don't see this happening myself.

But the team is in a pretty tough position as far as what to do with Prince, financially and baseball wise too.

Fact-of-the-matter is, we need Prince to hit, and show a little power, or our team may have a tough go of it. Also, from the financial side, if he keeps hitting .200 with little to no power, we'd have to give him away, much less eat a bunch of salary.

So I think they'll go with him for several more weeks, and then reevaluate. But for me, his bat speed looks damn near scary bad.

Hopefully, if Prince is still struggling when Choo comes back Choo can DH and Prince can sit.

I think it is time to unload Prince in the offseason. It will be a year too late so we won't get much of anything for him even if we pay half of his salary. Maybe we will learn a valuable lesson and trade Choo a year early instead of a year too late.

I won't watch with that lineup either and its not just Prince. I have no desire to watch Alberto, Holaday, Prince or MM vs a Lefty
Sure wonder at some of Banny's moves at times.
