I'm really not that incensed, breaks happen, Caps earned their break in OT. But I really don't think that was in. On,y angles I saw were two overhead and the center ice shot that they don't use (supposedly...). I don't blame them for upholding call on ice (although they said in release it was confirmed and I have no clue how), just a bit salty that the ref seemed to react to Oshie instead of the puck. He could see THAT but not Wilsons knee.

Penguin radio was saying it was not in, then they saw a different view and said it was in.

Gosh, if only we had the technology to put some kind of microchip in the puck for an extra 10 cents and have a sensor along the goal line to confirm such things and not waste minutes of everybody's time with reviews and arguments and controversies and long distance phone calls to Toronto.

Actually that is correct. The last time they won an OT playoff game was against the Isles in 2013.
2016: 1 loss to the Caps.
2015: 2 losses to the Rangers.
2014: 2 losses to the Bluejackets, 1 loss to the Rangers
2013: 1 loss to Ottawa, 1 loss to the Bruins
In 2013 they won their 2 OT games against the Isles in the first round.

Heck if fox could make the puck glow on TV, for that matter if hotels can track the 5 dollar bag of nuts you take from the mini bar in your room with sensors this would be easy to do.
But remember this will take away from the tradition of the game.

Seriously it is easy to do and similar technology has been implemented in many other industries.

Looked like a goal to me. There was certainly nothing to overturn the call on the ice.

They literally showed ZERO replays of it at Verizon last night. I saw BGDave's post up above too, looks too close to overturn that.

Yeah it was a goal and have no issue with the goal being allowed. But like Pix stated earlier though is how in the heck did a ref behind the net actually see that cross the goal line he had no line of sight to that. These are the same refs that didn't see a knee on knee hit or a freakin stick stuck in a guys mask! How is that not a high sticking call.
