Carolina was one of the best rushing teams all year, and they have been the best team running the ball in the playoffs. Denver's run defense, however, has also been among the best in the league.

Carolina does and you would think that sloppy weather would favor the running game but like TD said Denver has a great run D. Pats ran 17 times for shit and Brady had the most with 13 yards( 1 was for 11 yards)

No way the panthers score 30 on the Denver D. Another big thing alot of people forget to factor in is that this Denver team lost a super bowl 2 years ago in humilating fashion. Denver will come out with a chip on its shoulder and pull out the victory 24-20.

Is it THAT much better than Seattle's? Denver hasn't played an offense that even remotely resembles Carolina's. I also fully expect Carolina's defense/special teams to contribute heavily in the scoring by providing great field position (if not by scoring themselves).

When it matters in the playoffs, yes. Carolina won't be able to move the ball at will as they've done so far. Denver is a much different animal than what they've seen to date. Of course, 7 turnovers in the NFCCG will lull many to believe.

He is certainly a dangerous runner, but Johnathan Stewart has had a stellar season. Mike Tolbert is also still a very effective situational back, both catching and running the ball. Panthers will certainly test Denver's run defense.

I was being sarcastic, but I don't think they will be near as effective against that run D and Cam may get something broken if he tries his superman stunts on them a few times....
If you look at the Zona game, Cam was off target several times, and if that happens SB Sunday, it's going the other way on him IMO...
We may may not like them but no one is better at game planning, execution and adjusting at the half as Brady and BB, and Brady got hit a record 20 times, 4 sacks and I don't know how many hurries....
So I don't expect Cam to be smiling and playing superman a whole lot in this one, he's gonna be too busy trying to stay upright....Denver has hit a stride now, it could be a stampede !!!!
