That's a hell of a statement coming from a Michigan fan. How pwned are you guys by Sparty again? Like 1-6 the last 7 years or something like that?

I think Harbaugh will get you guys back to regular 10 win seasons... but Michigan State isn't going away anytime soon.
Sure they are. We were the better team this year and most certainly should be the better team next year with Cook gone. Michigan State will never have the recruiting capabilities of Michigan and now that coaching is at least on an equal level, if not in favor of Michigan, Michigan should begin to take the rivalry over again. That doesn't mean we won't lose here and there but I expect to win more games than lose games against MSU.

one of these years MSU will have to give up scUM's ownership papers...
like retiring a diseased old junkyard dog.

It's been a good run. s'great reflecting on the fact that a whole generation has gone through both high school and college watching MSU bend scUM over in Football AND Basketball.

go green!

Basketball? The last 6-8 years Michigan has a winning record over MSU in basketball. But I hate basketball so you can have that back, I don't care.

Damn. Tennessee getting some real love. Hopefully they don't choke. I'll be supporting them for sure. One of the few SEC teams I can tolerate.

I predicted it would happen back in Sept.

I said they would lose a bunch of games to start the year, then they'd finish out with a bunch of wins and then get hyped up(again) next year.

Well they have the best QB in the SEC. They likely win the East, but I don't see them beating LSU or Alabama in the title game.

Nope. They'll do the same thing they did this year, but you can add a loss to Georgia.

And the only reason you can tolerate them is because they have been sucking. The fans you see here are cool, but those aren't the same fans you'll encounter when they are playing well.

You expect Georgia to be great in year one of Smart? I don't know. I think Tennessee deserves to be the favorite. Georgia second. Will be an interesting game for sure. And every team has fans like that man. It's not an isolated thing.

Tennessee will likely start out 3-0 since VT will be on a new coach.

They'll lose to Florida, because that's what they do.

Kirby Smart is building a monster at Georgia, who already has talent. He may pull in 3 of the top10 recruits this year.

That'll put them at 3-2 and people will be saying "Tennessee Sucks".

Toss up with A&M but I'll give Tenn the nod on that one since who knows what A&M is going to be at QB next year.

So 4-2 going into Alabama. Doubt they'll beat Alabama, so they'll be 4-3 at that point.

And just like this year, they'll then finish out the year undefeated, going 9-3. Basically the same as this year, with an easier OOC in VT rather than Oklahoma being the only difference.

Which isn't bad really, especially after the Dooley years, but they gonna be hyped to hell and back.

I think they'll be better than this year. There is no lack of talent at Georgia, and Kirby is bringing in good staff(which pisses me off because a good bit of that is stealing from Alabama).

Best QB in the SEC? Is that supposed to be some high level of praise? Who's his competition?

I think if Tennessee has any more than 2 losses it is a failure IMO. Look how close every one of their losses were and their two toughest games (losses) they should have won vs 2 playoff teams. They return a bunch of starters. This is the year for Tennessee, not sure if Tennessee fans will agree but with that schedule they should be drooling.

Really proud of my Houston Cougars, of course. Highest finish in the polls in 36 years, and only the sixth top-ten finish in school history. Herman and his crew are on the case to right injustice!

Great opportunity next year. OU and Louisville in Houston. Just need the conference to show up strong.

Those two games are definitely big opportunities. Not sure what to expect overall from the conference. Navy loses Reynolds and Memphis loses Lynch. Houston also loses a lot of talent, particularly in the defensive secondary. Hopefully, the coaching staff is able to again get the most from the players. I really feel like that was the biggest strength of this past year's squad.

If Houston can beat Oklahoma and Louisville and run the conference table, it's going to be very difficult to keep them out of the CFP.
