We weren't ever really in the running for Corley. It's been mostly and MSU/OSU thing from what I understand. Not to mention we already have 3 WRs in the class. Much bigger positions of need at this point for us. We need some LBs.

And Rashan Gary.

Well Gary of course. If we nab Gary and a 2-3 more four star kids, we could very well end up with the #1 class.

Def need speed at LB. That was clear against OSU.

That would help -- it would also help to have more DL depth. The only reason it was a real issue was because two of the DL starters were out and Durkin tried to run primarily a 3 man front for the first time this season.

Hard to believe that Ohio State did not dominate with that group.

Outside of OSU/Miami that win over Bama is probably the biggest championship level upset of the BCS and Beyond era.

Not if you're going by how talented the actual teams are. This Buckeyes team will approach the record for most players drafted in one year by a college which, ironically enough, is Ohio State in 2004 (14). It's looking very likely that they'll at least tie it. If Elflein had decided to go pro, they would've likely broken it with 15.

  1. DE Joey Bosa
  2. OT Taylor Decker
  3. RB Ezekiel Elliott
  4. WR Michael Thomas
  5. LB Darron Lee
  6. DT Adolphus Washington
  7. S Vonn Bell
  8. CB Eli Apple
  9. LB Joshua Perry
  10. WR Braxton Miller
  11. TE Nick Vannett
  12. WR Jalin Marshall
  13. QB Cardale Jones
  14. S Tyvis Powell
  15. WR Jeff Greene
  16. LB Camren Williams
  17. OL Jacoby Boren
  18. OL Chase Farris
  19. DT Joel Hale
  20. K Jack Willoughby
  21. DT Tommy Schutt

All that talent, and they didn't even make the playoffs. Is this the biggest choke job of the BCS/playoff era?

Not Really, Bama was rebuilding last year and really overachieved. That team should have lost 3 or 4 games

I would not bet my middle testicle on that being what you were saying prior to the game last year.

I don't know enough about the history, but it's a massive disappointment in my opinion. They just looked uninspired until Michigan State clowned them at home.

No you won't. Even if you get Gary you wont end up with the #1 class, you won't even pass Ohio St. Especially considering the fact Ohio St only has 18 commits so far. You have 5 more commits than us and we are still ahead of you.

And you have very right to that disappointment.

This is why I discount voting and like playing the games instead of voting on it ala beauty contest. tOSU looked good, but...they looked like a dollar and performed like a dime! And they aren't the only one that got the benefit and hype of looking good and performing way below the hype.
