I realize that the show is currently laying the groundwork for the future of the show, but it feels like Fear the Walking Dead right now, wherein a bunch of time is being invested in a bunch of folks nobody knows or even remotely cares about at this point?

I was just saying on the hockey board that I actually think Spencer could become an interesting character after seeing this episode. He's neither over the top hero nor is he over the top douche bag. Found his hypocrisy and rationalization to be amusing. But he doesn't seem like the type that would pull a move like what Nicholas did to Noah.

Was that bit with the Rev and Maggie supposed to cure her or something? If so, I am disappointed. I thought that had some pretty good potential.
