Cousins should dedicate this game to Bomani Jones.

Dad, this is what I meant when I said that they should let the restraints off of Kirk. Let him sink or swim on his own. He came through this time.

It is a huge help to have J Reed back. Gives Cousins more options. Everyone should see why you shouldn't decide a guys career in a couple of games .... positive or negative.

I actually thought the same thing lol. That Shitstain can't go more than 20 minutes before he brings up "that white boy" Cousins

Lol. I think people are a hell of a lot more obsessed with Bomani than Bomani is with Cousins.

had a great time ... hopefully something i will always remember.

But, if i forget, i can always come back and read this post to refresh my memory, lol

So, we get there when the parking lot opens at 9. Was a soggy morning but we made the best of it.

Around 10 we headed up to the stadium and caught the band, cheerleaders & alumni parading around the stadium.

we head back to tailgate & eat, only to discover this guy forgot to bring the grate for the grill. :L
the wife couldnt say much because 10 minutes earlier she discovered she had forgot to bring the SD card for her camera. womp-womp

on the opposite end of the tailgating spectrum ... the guys next to us had a smoker/trailer with dish TV set up.

so, 11:30 we head into the stadium, grab a Johnny Rockets burger & some images of the alumni coolin with Snyder on the sideline pre game

the game got off to a #SoRedskins start, 0-24 & fans were getting frustrated. At one point, around the 2 minute warning of the first half, the 60 year old guy behind me starts heckling me to sit down ... "hey, hey you down front. Down front ... you gonna stand up all game?" I explained to him if i wanted to sit down I would have stayed home & he should of done the same. He asked if I was a season ticket holder, like only season ticket holders are given the privilege to stand? lol I always hate watching the game from home and not seeing the crowd getting involved ... so I was determined to be energetic, standing and cheering even if the Skins were completely out of the game.

That second half was great. The onside kick was a big surprise & helped the Skins cut the lead down to 3. And then Martin busted one loose and made it right down to the goaline before being brought down by Breeland. You would NOT believe the number of fans who began exiting the stadium to beat the traffic. We just smiled and waved goodbye as they streamed up the staircase. But the defense held them to the FG & Captain Comeback led the team into the history books with largest deficit overcome in franchise history.

it was a good day.

Happy for the Skins, the fans but very happy you had such a good game. It was fun from my living room but would have been REAL fun to be there for that comeback. Way to bring the W home Krush. :10:

Nice comeback. With the sorry state of the division you guys might be in the running for a playoff spot still.

I'm actually enjoying the inept play of our division rivals. Misery loves company.

So it really was Homecoming? Haven't they learned their lesson yet? This is the NFL and the other team isn't going to be too happy about being designated the Homecoming opponent.

Nice write up @Krusheasy

What a great day to have been there supporting our team :)

My little sis was there too and said it was 'amazeballs' - first time I'd heard a game described that way

I can't imagine ever leaving a game early, even if it was a loss, but that's me:noidea:

If I'm there and the second half continued like the first Hell yeah I leave. Not only does it make sense it sends a message that you won't accept this.
