Week One - Other Games Thread

Why don't we have a thread where we can post thoughts about other games - other than the main event.

Since we have the late afternoon game, early games include:

Chiefs at TEXANS
Colts at BILLS
Packers at Bears
Panthers at Jags
Browns at Jets
Seahawks at Rams
Dolphins at Redskins

For obvious reasons I'd like to see the Texans and Bills win. It will be interesting to see if Fox can have the Bears prepared to battle the Packers. And I wouldn't be broken hearted if the Rams beat the Hawks.

I'm going to watch the Chiefs/Texans - if the Chiefs lose that will be a great start to the season.

I will be watching Chiefs at Texans, since that is what is on here. I always like watching the division rivals and rooting against them. Plus, it's fun to watch the best defensive player in the league.

The other early game that is interesting is Colts at Bills. The Colts have a team that could compete for the AFCC, and the Bills will be interesting because of Rex Ryan taking over. Will the Bills be good enough to unseat the Patriots this year? They should have the ability to rough up QBs pretty good, and we may get a glimpse of that today. Theirs could be a fun defense to watch.

Tyrod Taylor > Andrew Luck? LOL Probably not, but I thought it was interesting that we offered him a signifcant deal this past offseason. Kind of inferred from that that Elway and or Kubiak suspected that Taylor can play.

It was Houston, and their overhyped HBO special didn't help any. Especially here in Houston.

Sooooooooo glad they lost.

Loved how Rams D tore up Lynch. He had total of 73 rush yrs on 18 carries but one run was for 24 yds. Sweet! Good job Rams rush D.

Nope, I had McCoy on most of my fan duel teams.

I'm a bit disappointed he didn't do better.
