Speaking of plans - do you have any today? Is this the most non-celebrated holiday of the year? I'm going to help my son in law as they are building a new house. I do highly technical tasks - like moving lumber and sweeping floors.

I'm smoking a pork shoulder outside (obviously) and inside I'm rearranging my kids' bedrooms. Tomorrow I am briefing a 3-star general (along with 2 1-starts and other key staff members) on a project for which I am the AO and am mentally word-smithing what I'm going to say on each slide. I wish I could bill the government for my mental prep-time but I'm not paid by the hour anyway, so I guess that's that!
