I never said replace......giving a break from time to time helps Jackson and the team doesn't lose the speed threat. Take the replacing issue up with the poster who wrote it.

wasnt trying to take issue with you because you didnt say that . sorry it came out like that . i am glad he made the team . jy said replace

Yeah, I also have Djax slated to be a Redskin for 3 years, 4 years at the absolute most.

10.2 million for Garcon next yea eh. Well, we all know, and PG probably does to, that the Skins aren't paqying that kinda jack next year. So there'll be a renegotiation for PG will be hittin the tramp.

Never said he would approach Jackson, heck, few will. I said that when Jackson is no longer here (which he probably won't be when his contract expires) that Ross could potentially be his replacement as he has all the tools you look for in that position.

when you say he is a replacement for him that pretty much mans you believe he can play up to that standard and i say he barely made it as the 6th guy and now he is a potential starter in 2 years ? that is pretty much what you mean when you say replace

and i am saying i have seen too many pre season hype jobs go by the wayside to say he is a potential starter in 2 years

Please don't put words in my mouth or tell me what I mean. You want to say how you interpret what I say, fine. Trent or Preston are replacements for orakpo, right?does that mean they will be an all pro? Of course not. But they could turn out to be productive.
Now do I believe Ross could potentially be a starter in 2 years? Yes, I do. That does not mean I believe he will ever be as disruptive as Jackson. I've seen more impact in Ross this year than we have ever seen from Ryan grant or even Roberts.

i doubt he is a starter in 2 years . sorry its too big a leap for me to envision the number 6rth wr on the team by a whisker will ascend to being a starter in 2 years based on one preseason

as for trent and preston , they were 2nd round picks and yes they are replacements for rak but they are shaky or else you dont sign JR

"'when you say he is a replacement for him that pretty much mans you believe he can play up to that standard and i say he barely made it as the 6th guy and now he is a potential starter in 2 years ? that is pretty much what you mean when you say replace '"

i believe my statement says potential starter , his standard (djax is a starter ) his production 58 rec for 1000 yds isnt earth shattering with 6 tds

what good does it do if ross cant approach those numbers ?

when you say replace you are saying he is a starter . that isnt putting words in your mouth its holding you accountable for what is being said and making sure that i am clear

now if you think that he replaces Djax in 2 years as a starter based on this preseason then i will again say you are higher then a georgia pine

so that leads me back to this . what would we have lost ? a 6th wr or maybe a 5th ? those arent hard to find

Bullock was zero for 2 here. I understand the Redskins like Crowder and I look forward to seeing what he can do, if he gets playing time. Had Ross not made the the it would have made the coaching staff look bad. He played his way on. I know it's for the 6th WR spot and we won't see him again but the kid earned it.

I didn't think Plummer would make the roster over Spaight either. They apparently like Plummer though since he is on the practice squad.

I feel for the guys who don't make it. I have mentioned having nephews who play college football. I have watched how hard they work and it is a year round process to get where they are. We have kids from our HS team playing all over the country. You live and die with all of them. We kid and say "these guys will be UPS drivers on Monday." But man these guys have worked so hard to just get a chance to make it at the highest level. I congratulate those that made the team while feeling for those that didn't. Most will continue to train with hopes of catching on later this season or trying again next year. Guys like Ross who took a couple of camps before he made a team.
