Mine are Minnesota Vikings in the NFC and Miami Dolphins in the AFC.
Neither made the postseason in 2014 however i've got a good hunch both make it this season.
Minnesota Vikings are my surprise team in the NFC. First off Minnesota were 7-9 and lost four games by eight points: one point to Buffalo, two points to Detroit, two points to Miami and three points to Green Bay. They were eight points shy of being 11-5 and all these without A.P. Well Bridgewater has a year of experience,Peterson is back with a chip on his shoulder and they have a pretty good defense as well. Take it to the bank Minnesota will be over .500 this season and in the postseason.
Miami Dolphins are my surprise team in the AFC. Miami were 8-8 and lost three games by ten points: three points to Denver, three points to Green Bay and four points to Detroit. They were ten points shy of being 11-5 last year. QB Ryan Tannehill is underrated and completed nearly 400 out of 600 passes,67% completed,4000 yards with 27TD and 12INT with a 92.8 pass rating. Tannehill's 2014 season was Tannehill's best statistically, as he set career highs in passing yards, passing touchdowns completion percentage, pass attempts, pass completions, passer rating, and rushing yards, as well as a career low mark in interceptions. On May 18, 2015, Tannehill signed a 6-year $95 million contract extension with the Dolphins through the 2020 season. Also they brought in Ndamukong Suh to help out a good defense that includes Cameron Wake,Oliver Vernon,Louis Delmas,Brent Grimes, etc. I have no doubts Miami will be over .500 this season and in the postseason.
