We are in New Hampshire this weekend with the 5-HR ENERGY 301. Looks like Cousin Carl took the pole alongside Joey Logano. Should be interesting.

Not a fan of this track. Kyle Petty's comments on the place may be about the only thing I've ever agreed with him on.

And rightly so 4down20. He lost his son on that track and he didn't like the place before Adam was killed. That death has cost Kyle just about everything. Petty Enterprises has thrown him out awhile back and he and the King are estranged and it has gotten worse since his mother died. Kyle and Patty live apart. Patty has Multiple Sclerosis and now lives in Kansas near the newest Victory Junction Gang camp.

Although he won't admit it, Kyle and Patty are legally separated and probably functionally divorced because they never got passed the accident that killed Adam. They both blame the other and Patty's MS can be attributed to at least in part to the internalization of blame and unresolved grief that continues to eat away at her. Kyle has removed his wedding ring and he lives in North Carolina. So, even though you never liked the guy, that death has cost him just about everything important to him.

Austin Dillon is promising payback on Denny Hamlin for running him up the track today, but he'll probably sleep on it and cool off when he sees that it wasn't intentional.

But Denny Hamlin is the one driver that is pretty much universally hated by all fans. I've never met anyone that likes the guy.

Austin should be focusing on trying to make the chase. Denny is already in the chase. Wrecking him does no good for Austin

Denny has always been an asshole, even when he was running the late models at South Boston, Langley and Motor Mile in Virginia. I hope Austin runs the #3 so far up Denny's ass, he doesn't shit right for a week.

I am always in NH

Anyways, I'm heading out in a few minutes to take a 30 minute drive to Loudon to catch the race. I haven't been to the track in 4 or 5 years so it should be fun. Temps are expected to hit the low 90's even with partly cloudy conditions.

I like the track for the simple reason that it is difficult. The car set up has to be just right and the driver has to be damn good. I know there has been a few exceptions to the driver rule, but for the most part only the top drivers win here.

I don't know if you have played fantasy nascar on Yahoo but drivers are broken down as A drivers, B drivers, or C drivers. You get to choose 1 A driver to start, 2 B drivers, & 1 C driver. C drivers are obviously the shitty drivers so there's not much to choose from

I hate to say it, but Kyle needs to win the championship so that it will cause enough uproar so that this format will be scrapped. Someone who misses close to half the season should never have a chance at the title.
