Not just women, but eveyone shouldn't be an ass. Regardless though, a man can't go full tilt on a woman. Johnson's a dickhead to the highest level and should be put in jail for a long fucking time.

Any of these three punishments can be awarded.

Up to 1 yr in jail.

Up to 1 yr probation

Up to $1000 fine

These are for the charge of misdemeanor battery. Which is what he is charged with. I am betting probation and fines.

You have a funny way of reading if you think I said we should be allowed to hit women.

I'm saying women need to stop mouthing off all the time and acting like they're a man and then not expect to get hit. It's ridiculous. Some of the most arrogant people down at the bar are young chicks these days. Think they can get away with whatever they want because they know we can't and won't do anything.
So mouthing off is worthy of being decked? The guy is pushing her, words are said, she raises her fist, he grabs her, starts pushing her again. At that point she is defending herself against a much bigger and stronger person. I highly doubt that she could do much damage with her non-dominate hand, with no room to really get any sort of footing. Again if he felt like he was defending himself against her, he needs to get out of football. All he had to do was let go and things diffuse.

My guess is you're correct. Which treating violent people with weak assed sentences is 75% of our court systems problem IMO.

I don't know if I should like because I agree with what you are saying or dislike because I think it's bullshit that's how our system works.

You know if it is a first offense that is part of the consideration on the charge and or sentence. Should it be? Hell I don't know. But in FL it is a pretty strict law. Simply grabbing a person's arm(not violently either) is misdemeanor battery if it is not consented too. So in theory you coukd grab someones arm to tell them they dropped their purse or wallet and get this same charge if the person chooses to pursue it. If that person is a first responder(cop, EMT, ff). Then it becomes a 3rd degree felony.

He did the crime so now it is time for him to do the time. Sucks for him, but don't put your hands on a woman.

The average man can kill the average woman with one punch.

The average woman can't do that to a man.

Same with professional or D1 Athletes.

There comes a time when the power used against a person is overwhelming. A man full out knocking the shit out of a woman is one of those times.

JJM....don't be that guy.

I think his point is fair though. Women should not be able to walk around punching dudes in the fact without any consequences. I personally would never hit a woman, unless my life was in danger. I've been punched in the face before by a woman, didn't react at all. And it hurt (lulz).

The woman should face consequences as well as the man in my opinion.

And honestly, the average man cannot kill the average woman with one punch. No need to use hyperbole to make a point. I think we all agree him hitting her was way out of line and he deserves his punishment.

She only threw a punch after he grabbed her and then was pushing her around, very easy to suggest her punch was in self defense. There is no way to prosecute that successfully.

I guess we see what we want to. The man was pushing his way to the bar (as I and millions of others have done in crowded bars), she got pissy, and raised her hand to punch him. He grabbed her hand so he wouldn't get punched, and she used her other hand to punch him in the face. He then punched her back.

Calling her swing "self defense" is just lulz.

Again, the dude was out of line, and he should be punished, and charged. And I'm sure he will be. But the woman deserves a battery charge as well. She swung first. Period.

So you are saying he didn't push her around by her arm after he grabbed it? Again if he lets go rather than swings, no one will know who he is outside the state of Florida right now.

Will you stop saying pushing her. All he was doing was trying to squeeze his way to the open spot of the bar. She did the first pushing with her butt.

Her arm was balled up in a fist and raised to strike him. Clearly she intended to punch him. Know how I know? She did.

And he swung after he was punched in the face.

Nothing really to argue about. The video is there. I agree with you he should be punished.

Do you agree she should? Or are you saying what she did was completely fine and normal and not worthy of any repercussion?

He has a grip of her arm, correct? He moves her from the grip that he has on her arm, correct? So what would you like to call it, since pushing her is offensive to your delicate nature?

No it's not obvious that she was going to punch him. If he doesn't grab there is a very good chance that she doesn't punch him at all. Does every time police officer pull his gun does he plan on shooting someone or is it sometimes used as a matter of a threat to stop what the other person is doing.

LOL, he didn't just randomly decide to grab her arm. You're trying to absolve this stupid bar hound of al

Couldn't you make the argument that if she didn't ball up her fist and raise to strike him this never would have happened?

As I already stated, I'm not talking about this case. I'm talking about women in general. We already decided as a group that this kid was in the wrong.

Now, as for other cases, there are crazy bitches out there.....tons of them. They need to act less crazy and act more like a female.

Yeah, I think everyone agrees the man was out of line. Nobody is saying he wasn't.

But it appears Jack agrees with me in that, women need to also be held accountable for their actions.
