I'm getting anxious to see Gallo and Hamilton together. These 2 are doing damage in Frisco. I guess there's no guarantee but it seems like Gallo will be up this year if they can find a spot for him.

Doubt it. He'll get to AAA this year (my guess is next month) -- but no need to rush him to the majors.

Yeah, we already are having issues playing guys on a regular basis at certain positions.

However a move or 2 may be needed at the deadline to make some room for who all is gonna get time going forward. It'll be crowded once Rua is back

It's funny you should mention him b/c I was thinking earlier that "everyone sure seems to be forgetting about Rua." I have high hopes for this guy myself.

Not sure what we're gonna do with him at the moment, but think he has potential at the ML level.

It's been mentioned that things are getting crowded. Rua should hold his on when he gets back.

True....but I swear it seems like Rua's name is left out of the conversation a lot.

Wonder now if the brass is thinking of using him as a utility player for now, and see how Hamilton does first.

Well.....according to Mr Banister, a player shouldn't lose his position (Martin vs DeShields) due to injury. So what's the deal Mr. B (as Hazel would ask) when Rua comes back? haha

I frankly, find it intriguing, fun and exciting for a struggling team, yet having some real competition going on.

Had only 11 games at ss in minors. Played mostly at 3b and 2b in minors. Understand why you said that though.

I have a feeling the deadline is going to open up some spots. We have some veteran starting pitchers and maybe even a couple of veteran hitters who could be moved.

Then there will be some inevitable injuries as well.

I am with you on Gallardo, Wandy, and Feliz for sure as I am ready for him to be gone. I would not mind throwing Martin into the mix. I love his arm and his coverage in the OF but we are going to have so many OFers and his intelligence just drives me crazy. Now he will go 4-5 with 2 HRs tonight.

Don't agree either. With all that is going on that is the one position that we really have a need besides SS but we are stuck there.
