Yep, out of the gate, he compares to Welker though his immediate impact is slotted for returner. Read: watch out Andre Roberts.

That's not necessarily inconsistent. If all you've got is straight line speed, that's very possible. But I wouldn't trust what Kiper says. And as for Polian, he used to be a good talent evaluator, but he's really not the same guy anymore.

This guy is not a burner, but is plenty fast enough. He won't run straight by a DB on a fly route, but if he gets behind you watch out.

I think Welker is a good comparison. Fast enough, runs great routes, has great hands. I think he could definitely turn into a starter in the slot. Now the biggest question is if the OC will have the QB and game plan tk get him the ball in those tight spots.
