They need to get with the fucking times and let pitch tracker call the balls and strikes. I'm sure the union won't let that happen for another 25 years, but for fuck's sake people. The forward pass made football better.

Are they about the same as they always have been, or have they gotten worse recently in your estimation?

Somewhat worse b/c years ago they only had a couple of pitches to look at.Today they have to be or should be more observant for the number of pitches being thrown.

I think a lot of it has to do with them hiding behind the catcher rather than lining up over the plate regardless of where the catcher lines up. They need to bring the big chest pad back.
