Matt Jones over Jalen Strong?

Don't get me wrong I like the back but he was drafted too high. I think the trade hurt us b/c we could of had Strong in the 3rd and still got Jones in the 4th. Yes I believe Jones was overdrafted. The extra picks are not always worth it and it proved it last night by passing on a top flight WR.

Why is T.J Clemmings still on the board? I will wait until the draft finishes to give you guys my redo draft.

TJ has a foot injury that has flagged him for teams.

But foot injuries heal. Even if he is not ready for 2015 you still get a good quality OT. Same goes for L. Williams. Analysts say he dropped b/c of shoulder problems. Just b/c a guy is not ready for Week1 doesn't mean he is not going to be a star.

i remember i hated the cris cooly pick alford morris pick, but i was pumped for the wr devin thomas and te dennis miller pick point is some will work out some will not i alway go back to jimmey jones when he said we needed a rb so we took emmit smith we did not know he was a hall of fame rb at the time we just needed a rb we got lucky

You don't have to like every pick and some are not going to hit. But you do have to trust in Scot, NOT because he won't make mistakes, but because he's the guy we've chosen to evaluate the talent. It's going to take 3 years to know how these guys are going to work out. So why bother getting so wound up over a pick you have no idea how they are going to be on the field?

Not saying you can't express your like/dislike for a pick, just explaining that my approach is going to be 'wait and see'

I agree Cali but how is Jones ranked higher than Strong on Sm's draft board? Don't you guys think Jones was taken too high? He would of been there in the 4th round when we picked. No doubt. I look at value when we draft. You cant tell me that we are getting value with Jones at round 3. Wouldn't Strong be the better value pick if we stayed with our original pick in round 3? We have no young WR talent. Plus I believe Garcon will not be here next year b/c of his contract. We had a great opportunity to get a good young WR talent.

All good points and I can see why you may feel concerned.

Since we don't know how SM evaluates who's highest on his board, we can only guess at things.

He's a BPA guy, tho some may debate what that means (see my sig, that's what I believe).

So if a RB is the player (not close to other targets) that's who's going to get picked.

They said hardy is a slot WR and we have that in Grant. Strong would have been a good fit when Garcon leaves. He plays on the outside.

It's fun to express an opinion but I clearly remember hearing how SM's drafts were always poorly graded. So what we think now doesn't really matter. For me on first impressions the only picks I don't "like" is this pick and the guard in round 4. I wanted a guard in round 4, just not this guard in round 4. But like I said we'll wait and see.

You don't pass on Strong to take Kojo. The trade down didn't work. I believe this draft gives a big slap in the face to the 2014 draft.

Still would of gotten Jones in the 4th round. Strong was great value in the 3rd. The Skins have already written off Moses and Long. Im shocked.

Skins haven't written off anyone. They've brought in competition just like Scot promised they would.
