But you have a great insurance policy if Amerson fails this year. The interest in Culliver raises a lot of questions about Amerson from the front office. waynes makes sense. We get younger and I believe better.

I really like the signings thus far. I like what Scot is doing. Games are won and lost in the trenches.

I'm with dad. Go Swamp Monster in the mid rounds. Trade back that first pick or take OL, DB or pass rusher... BPA

i think it is more of a worry about hall then amerson and waynes could make sense or shelton could since pot roast is on a stop gap deal and hatcher is 33 and baker is a career BU

Swung and missed on Browner, Cox, Rolle. Still chasing Culliver and Gilchrist. Have not heard one mention of us chasing a right tackle. Gotta think Scot is angling for a trade down to pick up an edge rusher as well as a RT.

Ray@12 and Flowers@19?

That's the only team I could see at this point. One thing I do know is we can take Scot at his word. Said he wanted to build from the inside out. Said he wanted to get bigger. So I believe he will take bpa. Whether that includes trade down, not sure.

i agree. but i couldnt resist old friend

Oh I know. Half the reason we come here is to debate with each other.

If we can even remotely fix the line before the draft, honestly i would have no problem with Shelton or Waynes... Well I might protest just to watch Dean speed type. :)

Word is he is way out of shape. In the past he gets some crazy 5 year deal. New sheriff in town. Love it.

That's right Shark. Waynes should be the guy.

This is a decent signing, I do however worry about Hatcher staying healthy at 33 years old after another injury plagued season.

If Joe Barry is smart (which Im not sold on yet) he will do the one thing Haslett didnt do despite the personnel he had..... Thats run a one gap system and turn Hatcher loose. Hatcher is a down hill player, much the same as Rak actually. Cut em loose to do what he does. Now hopefully SM can get a capable secondary in place so that we arent forced to play a two gap system any more.

This is STRICKLY related to the topic of this thread. What does it mean that he's officially out of the bag? Jokingly, he states, Gawd, I hope this doesn't mean that like the proverbial goose, he's cooked, like so many before him have been here!
