It makes a lot of sense like the story above states. Cobb has a relationship with McKenzie and Cobb played with veteran WR James Jones.

He'd be the #1 option at WR. Carr would have his deep threat and Carr and Cobb would have many years ahead of them to develop some chemistry.

I think this report from SBP is believable, it's just that Cobb can get a 2nd payday at 28 and cash in twice. Why mess something up when the QB is Aaron Rodgers?

Losing Cobb was a nice stiff jab to the face, but not a knockout punch.. We good..

Torrey Smith is also a free agent. However, he is rather inconsistent and not a true #1 imo. He's a solid #2 on a good team but we have enough #2 WR's. We need a #1 guy for Carr to throw the ball to.

Hakeem Nicks is also a FA and he might be best option, since he's coming off a down season. He's still just 27 so he should be able to rebound. We can get him on the cheap and spend major money elsewhere since we have a lot of holes to fill to be honest.

Smith and Maclin are the best of the FAs WRs that are left.. Either one would be good with me.. And remember we still have our choice of Cooper or White as well..

Yup.. Losing Cobb hurt more than losing Suh imo.. Cooper is like a Vet which is a good thing..
