Average arm
Very accurate
Mobile and can throw on the run.
Big wind up, but flicks his wrist quickly to let the ball go.
Would be ideal for a WCO.
Seen him mocked from 2nd to 4th round.

If we could get him in the 4th, I would much rather give him 500K than sink 1.2 or 1.3 into Elmer Fudd, I mean Colt McCoy. Cousins is flipping through his calendar as we speak.

what do you expect from grayson ? is he an answer ? are you drafting a career BU ? what are you looking in him ?

as far as i can tell he can run an NFL offense and possibly game manage . he looks like a career BU/PS guy for the near future

All I hear is that he's the sleeper QB of the draft.

I don't see it that way. He had a lot of flaws coming out of college and Shanahan was able to hide them for a year. Now everyone sees the flaws that were there in college.

Anyhow I didn't mean to hijack the thread. My comment was only to illustrate that some of the same things being said about Grayson who at this point has a mid round projection reminds me of how some saw so much promise in other QBs.

Maybe Grayson can be a great QB but to compare him now to Aaron Rogers is a little funny.

No problem man. Guys like Rodgers come around once every 15 years, and I for one am not entirely sold on Grayson. His lack of arm strength jumped out at me. I wouldn't dump Kirk for him, but Colt, yeah, I would.

now that we have a pretty good QB coach selecting him and getting him into the proper strength and conditioning routine he can sit out a year and develop if RG3 and Cousins aren't the answer

It will be interesting to see if Scott selects a QB. That will say a lot about how he feels toward RG, and Kirk, after looking at the tape. Getting Cavanaugh in here could be huge. He's established. McVay? Would RG, really listen to him anyway?

I really don't think our new GM will select a QB in rounds 1-7. He may however bring in an undrafted FA rookie.
Having said that, there are no problems with Grayson's arm strength which seems to be questioned. I have first hand knowledge.

grayson is said to be good , not great in all areas of qb play . nothing wrong with that at all . my question is are you looking for him to be the franchise qb answer or are you saying he is a competent qb who can game manage

I envision him to be a PS guy for any roster he is on.

I think he can be a pretty good starting QB just let him sit out a year and develop

so more of a game manager by year 2-3

No I think he can be much better then a game manager I've watched quite a few games of his let him come in and learn the system and get him in the proper strength and conditioning program and develop like Aaron Rodgers did
