Not really. He is a JUCO which means we are trying to fill holes on previous recruits. Somewhere we gave a scholly (or 2) that's not panning out, and this is on the defensive side.
Now if this was offensive I might say ok we're hurting but they are lookng ahead and saying we need to replace so and so with this guy.

Some recruits are not panning out for this coming year and the 2012 season.

Great news! I would think that we've got 3 DE's that are ready to play & a bunch of redshirts who aren't proven. It is entirely possible that we aren't filling holes where we don't have talent but instead we're bridging the gap between groups.
