Here comes every fans favorite, Michael Kirkman.

I really don't dislike him like some.

Pitchers can be a strange breed, depending on the pitcher. Some of them get it at 23, some at 27, some don't PERIOD.

But if a pitcher gets it for two years and that's all he's got. Those two can be magic and I want us to benefit from those two.

It's been a while since I've seen a ranger DP turned that nicely.

What two years? He's out of time.

Been away from the board for a while so I don't know what the sentiment is but Bogar seems like he really knows how to use a bull pen. I also heard him speak on one of the local shows. I'm all for him coming back next year.

That's the sentiment.

Complete opposite of Wash in regard to bullpen management and in game calls. I'm hoping he wins the full time gig.

I hope some of you Choo haters are listening to what JD had to say about him, his injury, and how the team didn't handle it well. Quote: "The first 6 weeks of the year, he may have been the best hitter in baseball. And then the ankle problem happened....."

I've gotta give Daniels credit in that, he doesn't avoid/deflect the question. He answers straight-forwardedly and then let's the chips lye where they do.

I think I am probably the only one to not be uber-positive about Choo in recent weeks on here so I guess that was directed towards me so I will address it. One thing -- I don't hate him. I have never really cared for that term to describe someone who isn't a fan of someone. That is much too strong of a word to me. I know it is just a saying, but it is one I don't care for.

More importantly though, I have never been a fan of Choo even before the injury. He is a decent OF who has some speed and takes a lot of walks. I think we paid way too much for him and gave him way too many years. That money could have been much more wisely spent.

His injury riddled stats this year don't change my mind about him at all except that it reminds me of the dangers of giving multiple years to an OF on the wrong side of 30. Seems like TR Sullivan mentioned that awhile back himself. I expected we would get about 3 decent-good years out of Choo when we signed him and I still thought it was a bad acquisition, especially for a team that was trying to pinch pennies when it came to other free agents. That is just the way I view it.

His contract and Fielder's will hamstring us for years in my opinion. We are going to be limited when it comes to signing free agents for several years. Hopefully, the fact that I usually stand alone with those opinions means I am wrong because if I am right then we are in trouble.

If we win tonight, I'm betting Holland pitches tomorrow.

And I never liked the #3 pick.
