Should I start the Carr over RG3

Now everyone knows I have a lot of love for RG3 this year but the more I think (which is usually not a great thing) the more I am starting to wonder if i should start the Carr.

Two years ago I did a similar move and it paid off. I started the unknown Colin Kaepernick over the strugling Cam newton and every thought I was crazy until Kaeps outscored Cam, then they thought I was a genius. Not stating this to bragg but for those guys that are gonna automatically react negatively.

It's just that RG3 still looks a little shaky, and going against Watt and Clowney can't be great. Still I know he will work it out eventually and Carr looks sooo polished right now, out the gates. My gut is saying Carr.

Talk me into this someone! Deep down i know it's the right move. No finger jokes, I beg you!

I'm considering starting RGIII over both Romo and Rivers. So yes, my advise would be to start him over Carr. RGIII may or may not stay healthy all year. He may or may not suck at some times. But he is going to have some good games - and I have a feeling he starts strong.

No.. just no

Foot...RGIII blew goats before this year. .A change in offense away from what he's good at is not a good thing. . Is a bad thing. . He belongs in the scrape heap, not your starting lineup. That being said, neither does Carr, but hey, at least he's comfortable in his offense.

I go with Treff and Smitty on this one. Not because I'm convinced about Carr, but because RGIII seems like a real shaky choice at this point.

And anyway, if you love Carr so much, then go ahead and do it. Just be ready for Rex's boys.

OK wow, glad to hear this! I never thought in million years I would have this many of you experts endorsing the decision to start Carr over RG3. I am really feeling great about it now even though I wasn't feeling too bad about it in the first place! I had a joke about a snail and an ""S" car - go" story, but I'll hold that one back!

I just want to point out that there has been no preseason games, no injuries, no suspensions involved between these two guys or their teams, since you posted your QB rankings. In those rankings RGIII is 2nd, Carr is 6 (excuse me while I :rollseyes: one more time). So..do you have no faith in your rankings or were you simply talking out your arse?

Treff, between two such elite options, evaluating match-ups is crucial. As I recall, Foot also has Clowney, thus assuring a difficult day for RGIII.
