I live about 5 minutes from there. Went for a run through 100 Center the other day and saw it, looked kinda nice. How is it?
Section 112. What a weird weather day. But it was worth it.
In an annual college football tradition, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will again renew their historic rivalry with the Michigan Wolverines this weekend. This year, the game will be held at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend and will have an even more expensive average ticket price on the secondary market than last season’s game at Michigan Stadium, which also served as one of the most expensive games in college football last season. According to TiqIQ, the average price for Notre Dame football tickets vs Michigan this weekend is currently $419.13, marking over a 12% increase from last year’s average secondary price of $373.35. The game has continually been one of the top-priced matchups each season and this year will be no different when both teams take the field on Saturday. The game currently trails just the Alabama-LSU matchup as the most expensive game of the season on the secondary market.
The high secondary market price for this Saturday’s Notre Dame vs Michigan football tickets is largely due to the conclusion of the annual rivalry after this weekend. While Notre Dame will remain independent of a conference in college football, the school reached an agreement in 2012 with the ACC to play five games per season against ACC teams. The agreement links the Fighting Irish to a conference, but allows them to retain an independence to televise games on NBC. The television deals allows a strong source of both revenue and commercial exposure for the school. Notre Dame and Michigan had an agreement in place through the 2031 season, but with three-year rolling options. Notre Dame notified Michigan before their 2012 game the school would be declining the option following the 2014 season. Saturday’s game will mark the 42nd time the two teams have met since 1887.
I'll be in section 2, can't wait! Secondary might worked but I'm hoping Golson and company keep up this offense.
Anybody going to Michigan game? I'm guessing Irish7478 prolly is.
I'm gonna be tailgating with a whole bunch of folks Sat morning/afternoon and troll for tix at the stadium. Plan is getting into the game just a matter of how much $$$ it's gonna be.
Yes, I'm going. I'll be in section 23. Corner of the end zone, but I'll take it. I'm looking for a great game with a ten point ND win 31-21.
Good for you, dude! Must be nice. You got season tix?
My bro just got two tix!!!
Two down ... two to go. I'll keep scrounging.![]()
