Tepesch and Martinez both throw way too many pitches.

I like what I've seen outta Martinez so far and see him learning on the fly. But he's definitely in the minors when next season starts IMO anyway.

Tepesch needs time in winter ball, ST to develop his pitches. He just doesn't have crisp, out pitches.

I agree and that's concerning to me.

It's always been about when the pitches are made and not the total number.

I.E.....18/20 pitches in the first few innings, then 15-17 almost every inning is much more stressful than pitching 110 pitches over 7.2 innings and averaging 14 per IMO.

Those 18-25 pitch innings early just wear out a pitcher.

Tepesch gave up only 5 hits. But 2 walks and y'all know the number of pitches.

He pitches in a hole 75% of the time.......2-2/3-2 counts on everyone. 7th place hitter, 3rd place hitter; matters not.

Tepesch is different from the the other two IMO.

Tepesch is experienced and knows what is expected. Mik and Martinez are babes-in-the-woods.

Tep should be showing what he's got, where he's going, and what we can expect for 2015. And all this in just not true to date.
