If the Pats got a 1st rounder out of it then yes, a very smart trade. But I highly doubt any team is stupid enough to give up a #1 for a 32 year old guard. Maybe a #3.

Bucs are desperate to shore up the OL, 2nd move they've made this preseason/camp to do so.

For NE...they have never been afraid to a let a vet go with some thread left...they have a plan obviously, but I can't see Brady being too thrilled about this one...either.

Yeah but Logan gave up 11 sacks last season ,so to pay a mid 30 yr old 10 million wasnt good biz sense. They picked up a 2nd year TE that had 60 catches with a TB QB. Some people have compared this kid to Aaron. So if Gronk stays healthy, they can have a 2 TE set like before

Interesting. Trading Mankins only two days after cutting Tommy Kelly, Will Smith, and David Anderson is intriguing. Suggests to me that they are feeling pretty good about themselves.
