RIP to the real Bandit
So, what five guys are the toughest for you to figure out where to rank this year. Mine in no particular order are:
RB Zac Stacy - I have bounced him around from anywhere between 15 and 40. Can't decide if the Rams are convinced he's an every down back, which makes no sense because that's exactly what he was at the end of last season. He's currently sitting at 24 and he's the 14th ranked RB.
TE Rob Gronkowski - It's strictly injury issues that make him impossible to rank. Gronk is going in the 3rd and even sometimes 2nd round of drafts, and I have had him as high as low 30's in my rankings, but when it comes down to it, I just can't convince myself to put him in my top 40. He's currently at 45 andI don't plan on owning him.
QB Cam Newton - I have bounced him from the low 50's in rankings all the way to high 80's which takes him from the 5th round to the 8th round, a huge difference. I just can't decide how much having no wide receivers is going to effect him. It's not like Steve Smith and Brandon Lafell were world beaters last year and he did just fine. The running ability he has is such a huge equalizer. I settled on putting him somewhere in the middle. He's at 75 or the 9th ranked QB on my sheet.
RB Bishop Sankey - He has been anywhere from the 3rd round around 35th to the 7th round around 75th. The guy has all the opportunity to win the job, but when you make Shonn Greene look more impressive than you, there is seriously something wrong. Currently at 55th on my sheet, somewhere in RB3 land.
WR Cordarrelle Patterson - Everybody and I mean everybody is expecting this guy to have a huge breakout year. The last I checked, his quarterback was still going to suck so I just don't see him breaking the top 50 overall. He's been ranked as high as 45th, but I currently have him 70th and I will let somebody else draft him as a WR2.
