Every team was required to stay under the $110,000,000 salary cap.

Every player even if injured or on the DL is considered healthy for this.

Please vote for which team you think is better. Thank you...

batting practice is spelled Joba Chamberlan.

You won't be seeing much of Joba since Team 8 has closer Jensen as a RP before Rosenthal takes over and closes it out.

Those types of offense get you to playoffs... pitching usually shuts them down once there. Small ball will win more often than long ball.

Lot of HR also means a lot of K's.

If you look I changed them. Why do you need SB if the guy hits a HR. I rather have a team with homerun hitters then guys hitting singles and once in awhile stealing. Just my opinion on it.

Its pretty simple the Sox won WS last year with 2 guys that had over 20 HRs winning series is all about great pitching great D and timely hitting get guys on base and drive them home:suds:

Goldschmidt and Cargo's numbers you are putting up but they are injuried....to be fair put up the starting pitchers against each other but just put Wins and Strikeouts....Mr Jose Fernandez.

Okay good analogy but if they won it with 2 guys that hit 20HR why not a team that 5 that are hitting 20+ HRS, has a equally as good pitching and 2 great closers. Rosenthal is leading the league in saves.

Yes guys get on base then someone drives them home. I hear this over and over. I rather have the guys who drive home the runs then the guys who get on base. 4 bases is more then 1 base, I thought. Once again I respect everyone's opinion and obviously I am the minority in this but I prefer power hitters compared to playing small ball.
