Certainly looks like this game is in the bag. Nice mini-comeback, despite the poor D and Manny injury.
Nice win. The sign of a true team is how well the other players perform when key players go down with injuries. The defensive lapse will be corrected and isn't the norm, thank God.
As for the loss of Manny and -- possibly -- JJ for an extended period, that is something that makes me cringe, but it is what it is. The sad part is that they were both just getting their strokes back after the previous injuries.
Looks like Chris got the message and might be waking up, offensively. Can't expect a homer every night, but a couple of base hits will do. If he can get that average up to at least .240, I'll be comfortable with that.

I seriously doubt Davis can raise his average nearly 50 points with less than 50 games left. He'd have to hit like .400 for that to happen. My guess is around .215-.220 by the end of the season, at best.
Looks like tonight's game is postponed.
Was there that much rain that the game was canceled so early?
