The NFL is not looking to start the season with the image of our guys can get away with anything. Right or wrong, that's the way it is.

Even if he did something there is little chance it would hit the courts until at least near the end of the season so the league wouldn't do anything.

When did Aldon smith fuck up and how long did it take for the courts and league?
